True Life Begins with Accepting Holy Prophet’s Call
There are many verses in the Holy Book that lay emphasis on this. An example is Verse 24 of Surah Al-Anfal:
“O you who believe! answer (the call of) Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.”
Life here refers to that which is accomplished by activation of one’s intellectual, spiritual and true capacities.
The Holy Quran says those who remain devoid of faith and belief in God despite having the intellectual and spiritual capacity and treat divine signs and blessings with indifference and ignorance have a life that is at the level of the life of cattle and even worse than cattle because they have the potential to move beyond the worldly life and achieve a higher level but they deprive themselves of it.
The Holy Quran says in Verse 179 of Surah Al-Aaraf:
“We have destined many men and jinn for hell. They have hearts but do not understand, eyes but do not see. They have ears but do not hear. They are worse than lost cattle. These are the heedless ones.”
So without faith and understanding of divine reality, a person is as if he is dead. Gender, age, race and social and political status make no difference in the essence of human life.

It is faith along with good deeds that leads one (whether a man or a woman) to Hayat Tayyibah (good life attained by the balanced satisfaction of both the material and the spiritual needs of human personality):
“Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a blessed life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did.” (Verse 97 of Surah An-Nahl)
Hayat Tayyibah (blessed life) is a life in which one has peace in his heart and belief in his soul, has no fear or grief and is blessed with divine blessings and prayers of angels.
